Pick up in Nairobi before heading on towards Marsabit. There will be a stopover at the Equator within Nanyuki thereafter heading towards Isiolo where we will have lunch. Upon arriving at Marsabit National Park, we shall have a short tour of Lake Paradise before a later dinner and overnight in Marsabit.

Depart for the most fun part of the trip to the Chalbi desert, North Horr Dunes, and Kalacha Desert Oasis after breakfast. The desert was once part of an extensive lake, as evidenced by the basin that fills with shallow water during heavy rains and fossilized remains of snail shells and fish vertebrae. We will spend our night at the community bandas.

After an early breakfast, we will head out to Lake Turkana. Thereafter head to Elmolo village through a boat ride where we shall have a good time interacting with them in matters of their culture and activities. We shall have our lunch at the vicinity of the great lake turkana and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the area and swimming at the lake.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be in Loiyangalani.

After breakfast, we will head to the desert museum located at the shores of the lake. This will help us learn tribal villages of the north, their culture and archaeological works. Later on, we will proceed to Ngurunit through South Horr, where we will have lunch.

We will have nature walks visiting the famous rock slides for a swim or adventure sliding in the rocks.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be in Ngurunit.

After breakfast, we will start our journey back to Nairobi with lunch en-route. End of 5days Marsabit, Chalbi Desert and L.Turkana safari tour.
