Carnivore restaurant is located just 8km from Nairobi’s city center and is a dining hub for all international visitors  who would like to have a taste of Kenyan cuisines and game meat. The restaurant’s strong-suit is meat which thus allows you to choose what you can eat for lunch or dinner in a garden setting. There are a variety of juicy meats roasted over a charcoal fire including Ostrich, Crocodile, Camel and Venison depending on what’s available locally. Nevertheless, the barbeque is served alongside beef, lamb, pork and chicken.To spice everything up are salads, soup, vegetable dishes as well as desserts and Kenyan tea or coffee. The Nairobi safari walk is a popular safari tour destination for people within the environs of Nairobi to have a relaxed day out any day, anytime within the year. You will be picked by one of our staff at your hotel around the city at 2pm in the afternoon and the journey shall commence towards Nairobi safari walk. The Nairobi safari walk is about 10km from the heart of the city. Upon arrival, a tour guide will take you around for game viewing walking on the broad boardwalk. Thereafter, you’ll have a chance to walk around for other attractions for an amazing safari experience. We then will start back to the city about 5:30pm. End of Nairobi Safari walk.

1 Day Arboretum excursion

Nairobi Arboretum has a rich history that dates from about the 20th century when the british settlers tried to plant various plant species to see their suitability to the climate in this 30.4 acres of land, just a few kilometers from the city, Kilimani area. It hosts 350 species of indegenous and exotic plants, most of which are labeled and also a home to a variety of bird species and vervet monkeys.

Arboretum is therefore a wonderful place to visit as a lover of nature and plants both as an individual or with a group of friends or family members. It has paved walkways and park benches and is an amazing recreational park and a perfect pick for outdoor activities such as team building. 

Detailed itinerary

You’ll be picked at your hotel around Nairobi’s CBD and head towards the arboretum where you’ll spend the rest of the day. The pick up will be at 2pm in the afternoon. You can carry snacks to enjoy in this park tour but only those with recyclable packaging such as plastic bottled drinks. However it’s prohibited to feed the monkeys around with bananas or other foodstuffs for they can be very nugging. After arriving, you’ll walk around with the help of a guide of our own to show you around. The park also has secluded areas for love birds to share a moment together. The park closes at 6:30pm in the evening, we then will start back to your initial pick up point.

1 Day Wasini, Watamu

Your excursion shall begin from a transfer from your hotel heading south coast to Wasini. From there, you will board a motorized dhow to Kisite-mpunguti Marine National Park. The dhows are normally hired, with a driver, from the many lodges around this place. This Marine National park is one of the best marine reserves in the country with pristine coral reefs for excellent driving and snorkeling. Dolphins can be spotted in the Shimoni channel and sometimes Humpack whales between August and October. Aside from the dhow trip, you shall enjoy a walk in the coral gardens in Wasini Island.

1 Day Giraffe center, Animal Orphanage, Beads Center

You will be picked from your hotel by one of our agents for a taste of Kenyan Wildlife and culture within Nairobi. In this safari tour, you will learn more about Giraffes and other animals with a visit to the Giraffe center and David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. The orphanage is a refuge to orphaned and endangered Elephants before releasing them to the wilderness later on. You will also visit the traditional bead workshop and see how they are made from start to finish. The tour is worth a second visit.
