Karura forest is an urban forest around Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi,  managed by the Kenya Forest Service. It's open to all lovers of nature who share a common love for Kenya’s unspoilt beauty. Karura Forest can be attributed to its late patron Prof. Wangari Maathai who won the fight against reducing the forest to pave way for more developments within the city in the 1990s. There are a number of activities to enjoy when visiting this amazing eco-friendly forest which include;

Walking, Jogging, Tree planting, Bird watching, Team building and other outdoor activities, horse riding and mountain biking and many more.
